Why You Came Into This Reality

Some teachers of the law of attraction say that you are this all powerful being that came to this reality to have a "human experience." Some people ask, if I had it all and could do it all, why would I want to experience giving it all up? In this article I will explain why you chose to live out this experience.

Just recently one of my favorite movies was playing on TV. It was The Game staring Michael Douglas. It brought up a very important point that I've never noticed before. If you've never seen the movie it is now the time to STOP READING! There will be spoilers. You have been warned.

The movie touches on a commonly asked question: "What kind of gift do you give someone who has everything?" The answer that the movie provides is: You take it all away. Then just before he's at the breaking point, you give it all back. This will give him a greater appreciation for what he has.

This is basically the gift that you've given yourself. Your "True Self" wanted to make a game of forgetting how powerful you actually are, then live through the joy gaining it all back again.

So the first part of the process is the preparation of the game. This is where you hide your godlike power from yourself, which is not an easy task. You first create this entire universe based on limitation. You create all the rules of physics in order to mask your true power. Then you forget that you did it all.

The next part is finding your way back to who you really are. This can either be done gradually, while you are living. Like what practitioners of the Law of Attraction try to do. Or you'll gain it all back in one shot. This happens when you "die." You don't really die, of course. "Death" is just a fail safe, so you don't permanently stay in this state of forgetfulness and powerlessness.

As you can imagine, getting your power back is extremely exciting & joyful. And that's the whole point of this game that you put yourself in.

Maybe that's where the famous band, N.E.R.D. got their name from. It stands for No one Ever Really Dies. Maybe they they've found a lot of their power back and that's why they've been so successful.
