The Relationship Between Information and Cash

Cash and information are economically equivalent to each other. The relationship between them is quite a strong one. In fact, I'm willing to bet that at least one point in your life, you paid good money for information. Like buying a book, software, or home study course.

People will work very hard to save up to go to school, or take classes, to gain information. Or even work a minimum wage job just to learn something. (Even if they did qualify for a higher-paying one.) Knowledge, information, money, power. It's all the same!

So here's an idea...

Chances are, there is someone living in my neighborhood, that will greatly benefit by learning anything that I know about marketing. And vice versa. But here's the problem. Our paths may never cross. And even if we do meet, we might never know that information, because it might not ever come up.

What would be a solution to this problem? And more importantly... How could we package and sell that solution?

Energy Vampires

There are some people that relish in spreading their negative thoughts and feelings around. Some people out there are about 90% negative all the time. It seems like everything that comes out of their mouth is complaint, after complaint, after complaint. You know the type. The type of person that will just come up to you and say something negative about someone or complain about something. It's almost like these people don't know how to make conversation, unless it's something they're complaining about.

These vile creatures are what I call energy vampires. I did not make of that term. In fact it's been around for quite some time.

Energy vampires must be avoided at all costs! They thrive and feed off negative energy that they give off in the first place. When they start complaining, other people start to feel negative, then contribute their own negative energy. This is what energy vampires feed on. It's what sustains them. It's what gives them more energy to spread more negativity.

If you are approached by an energy vampire. Try this. Try countering every one of his negative comments are complaints with positive remarks. Be the type of person that sees the brighter side of everything. Then watch the energy vampire start to freak out!

He might start referring to you as "weird" or "creepy." He won't know how to relate to you. And if you're lucky enough, he might just leave you alone altogether.

Or...

He might actually start to have a positive conversation with you. If you infect an energy vampire this way, you might actually be able to save him. But don't get your hopes up. Energy vampires are deeply rooted in their evil ways. And changing them back to being human is a harder task than anyone can imagine.

Just kidding! The best thing you can do for the human race is to cure as many energy vampires as you can. Many people out there don't realize that they are energy vampires They just don't know any other way to communicate. They are just saying what's on their mind. And if what's on their mind is negative all the time, then the reality that they have manifest must be a harsh one. This is very sad and you should feel very sorry for them.

I will keep the fight going against energy vampires. If you would like to help my cause, you can "donate" at the bottom of this page. And keep me fighting the good fight! ;-P

Focus on "What" Instead of "How"

A lot of people I know get tripped up on "how" they are going to achieve something, instead of "what" they want to achieve. If what you want to achieve is a big goal, the word "how" can actually make it seem impossible to do.

For example. Let's say you wanted to build a skyscraper. If you put your focus on how you are going to do it, you're going to just think of stuff like, "How am I going to get the money to make this happen? How I might going to get the proper permits? How are buildings even made?" You see how it can become a little intimidating?

Instead you should always focus on "what." Focusing on what will keep you centered on the main goal. I'm not saying that you should never think of "how." You should just keep your focus on "what." The how is important, and there is a place for it. It just shouldn't be in your pre-dominant thought process. As far as "how" you are going to do something, you should only think about the next task at hand.

If you only view things one step at a time, suddenly, everything seems highly doable. Maybe even easy!

That's probably how Genghis Khan viewed taking over the world. He probably only thought about uniting or conquering one nomadic tribe at a time. I'm just guessing, but if you were to tell him before he had conquered anything, that he had to conquer half the world within his lifetime, he would probably think you were crazy. (Just before driving his sword into your face!)

So again, don't get caught up on "how" you're going to do something. Just focus on what you want to do, and what the next step is. Everything else will fall into place.

Telling Yourself "Not" to Do Something

A very common scene in movies is when somebody is on a high ledge. And as they're walking across it, they tell themselves, "don't look down, don't look down, don't look down." And what they do next... they look down!

Telling yourself not to do something will actually make you do it. It's because when it comes to the law of attraction, the universe or whatever you want to call it, doesn't hear the word "don't" or "not."

This is an important thing to remember, because many people incorrectly use these type of statements in practicing the law of attraction. They get exactly what they were trying "not" to attract. Then they turn around and say, the Law of attraction doesn't work, because I got exactly what I did not want to get.

Here's another example:

What if I told you, "Don't think of a pink elephant?" What he think you're going to do next? I'd be willing to bet that you would think of the pink elephant. No matter how hard you try not to, you will do it. You just can't help it!

So what's the remedy to this? If you want to avoid something, how do you use the law of attraction to avoid it? You don't. You cannot use the Law of attraction to make something "not" happen. Instead what he can do is focus on what you want to happen.

If you catch yourself walking on a ledge facing almost certain death, you should tell yourself something like, "I'm going to make it, I'm going to make it, I'm going to make it." You'll definitely have a better chance of getting out of that situation alive.
